Justice and safety for the children

Hi, our names are Mandie Menzer and Brittany Fishburn. Our friend, Brittany Sherman, a licensed Social Worker and Therapist, has been advocating for the maltreatment of children that were in her care while she was an employee at Palmer Home for Children. As an adoptive mother of a child from a group home, she knows the long road to healing and how much mental and emotional recovery it takes to navigate. After what she witnessed, she could not stay silent for the sake of the children.

Since Brittany has come forward, over 100 current and past employees/children have come to her with similar concerns from their time at the facility.

She has been continuously threatened legally with defamation, but many people have come forward confirming that her claims are true. Many feel this is an attempt to silence her as a whistle blower.

We are here to show that she has a large crowd of people supporting her. This will not simply go away because the current administration has left MANY people with emotional scars and we are all standing together.

Since beginning her advocacy, the former director of Palmer Home is no longer employed due to the proof that she presented that he had history prior to being employed of a sexual affair with a high student while he was a coach.

There are many more things she has presented, but so far Palmer Home has not acted on them. Instead they have decided to go the route of litigation.

We need to show the world that these children DO have a voice. It is the voice of all of us who love them and either had to leave before we wanted to were forced to leave by this administration.

Any funds not used for attorney will be used towards former Palmer Home children and itemized receipts will be provided to show where every penny is spent for transparency since there has been so much false information spread about Brittany Sherman’s character.
