Hello, my name is Lolimar Sanchez. I am raising funds to help my two children with the costs of the detention process they are currently going through. I will briefly explain:

My two children were unjustly detained on Friday, January 16 at 7:45 a.m. while they were on their way to work in San Agustin, at exit 318 of the highway. The officers claimed that they were slowing down and obstructing traffic, and for that reason they stopped them. When the officers saw that their licenses were temporary, they told them they were going to be detained because they did not have valid immigration status, even though they had valid driver’s licenses, valid work permits, and pending immigration processes. At this time, they are being held at the Baker County Detention Center.

It is important to note that both of them have pending asylum cases and have valid identification documents. Their detention was completely unjust and arbitrary. We are doing everything possible to help them get out of this situation as soon as possible, as they are two honest, professional individuals who do not represent any danger to society. They only want to pursue their dreams and face their immigration processes in freedom. Please help me make that possible. I thank you in advance. God bless you!

Hola mi nombre es Lolimar Sanchez, estoy recaudando fondos para poder ayudar a mis dos hijos con los costos del proceso de detención en el que se encuentran actualmente, te cuento rápidamente:

Mis dos hijos fueron injustamente detenidos el día Viernes 16 de Enero a las 7:45 am cuando iban a su trabajo en San Agustin, en la salida 318 de la autopista, los oficiales alegaron que iban a bajar velocidad y estaban obstruyendo el trafico y por esa razón los detuvieron, los oficiales al ver que las licencias eran temporales les dijeron que iban a ser detenidos porque no tenían estatus migratorio valido, aun cuando tenían licencia y permiso de trabajo vigente y proceso migratorio pendiente. En estos momentos se encuentran detenidos en el Centro de Detencion del Condado de Baker.

Cabe destacar que los dos están en procesos de Asilo pendiente y que tienen sus documentos de Identidad vigentes, su detención fue completamente injusta e arbitraria. Estamos haciendo todo lo imposible por ayudarlos a salir de esta situación lo mas pronto posible, ya que son dos personas integras, profesionales, que no representan ningún peligro para la sociedad… solo quieren cumplir sus sueños y enfrentar sus procesos migratorios en libertad, ayúdame a que eso sea posible, te agradezco de antemano.
