Initially, this fundraiser was launched under the title “Stand with Dipu’s Family, Fund the Fight for Justice” to support the family of Dipu Chandra Das after his tragic killing.
However, after careful discussion within the fundraiser committee and direct confirmation with Dipu’s family, we learned that they have already received significant support, including financial assistance, from various individuals and organisations.
At the same time, we have witnessed a disturbing pattern of continued violence in Bangladesh following the incident involving Dipu Das. Many other families have been affected by similar attacks and are now facing severe hardship, including extreme financial vulnerability, legal struggles, and social insecurity.
Therefore, we decided to expand and redefine the purpose of this fundraiser — from supporting a single family to supporting multiple victims and families who urgently need help.

Why This Fundraiser Matters Now
- Many of these families are struggling with:
- Loss of their primary breadwinner
- Extreme financial hardship
- Legal costs in pursuing justice
- Fear, displacement, and insecurity
These incidents reveal a troubling pattern of targeted violence that has left many families devastated.
We are committed to transparency and accountability. Funds raised will be used responsibly to support victims’ families based on urgency and need.
By contributing, you are not only supporting one family — you are standing with many families who are fighting for dignity, survival, and justice.
Together, we can turn solidarity into action and hope into reality.
