Dear Friends and Supporters,
Our coworker, Justeen Cartier and her 2 boys Noah and Cohen lost their belongings in a devastating house fire on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 that destroyed most everything they own.
They have lost all of their personal belongings, including furniture, TVs, beds, dressers, and other valuables. All of their school books and bags were also destroyed too.
The water damage was extensive, and they might be forced to find temporary accommodations, which has been incredibly expensive for Justeen.
The days ahead are not going to be easy and the timeframe to have them back into their home could be long.
Justeen has experienced a lot of challenges in her life and as a single mother, she is a very strong, independent woman. Despite the challenges she faces, she is the epitome of someone who would give you the shirt off their back.
That is why I am turning to you and our community, for help. They need financial assistance to rebuild their lives and get back on their feet. Every donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping them to rebuild their lives.
We will be trying to compile a list of items they need, but in the meantime, I’m hoping to raise money to take some of the financial burdens away so she can continue to care for herself and her kids and deal with everything to come.
Kind Regards,
