Help Us Support Our Son Jurrah on His Historic USA Basketball Tour

We are so proud to share that our son, Jurrah Penrith, has been selected for the Indigenous All-Stars USA Basketball Tour 2026 — an achievement that means the world to our family, our community, and young First Nations athletes everywhere.

This team will be the first-ever 100% Indigenous youth basketball team to tour the United States. Jurrah, a committed Tumut Timberwolves representative player, has just turned 14 and will be one of the younger members of this talented squad of 14–16-year-olds.

In April 2026, Jurrah will have the opportunity to:

Compete in Junior Varsity games and showcases

Participate in high-performance training

Connect with Native American communities through cultural exchange

In the lead-up to the tour, the players will also attend three weekend training camps across NSW, preparing them for the intense schedule and high expectations of an international tour.

This journey isn’t just about basketball — it’s about giving our son the chance to represent his Wiradjuri culture, his Timberwolves team, his community, and his country on a global stage. As his parents, we’ve watched him work incredibly hard, stay dedicated, and remain humble. His selection is a reflection of his commitment both on and off the court, and we couldn’t be prouder.
