Jupes is a small family owned business that has been in the neighborhood for over 30 years. The Bar owners, Steve and Renea English moved from North Dakota to Arizona 35+years ago.
This small lounge has been a place for local families and friends to relax, and the jupes community has become a close knit family. Its more than just a bar, its a community. The patrons all have become very close friends that rely on each other for support mentally, with their own business's, and everyday lives. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the bar has been closed and is facing monetary struggles and we want to save them from going under.
Personally, my family has made almost all of our closest friends at Jupes. I grew up at Jupes, and have a whole second family from just the patrons there alone. The English family has been family to my brothers and I, we even refer to them as 'Papa Steve and Nana Renea'.
Anyone that knows Steve knows he would never ask for money, and he would absolutely never spill his financial burdens onto others. But we are here asking for any small donations so our small little community can stay afloat in this time of need.
Everyone that goes to jupes knows we all support each other during our time of need. Jupes is so much more than just another local bar, its a family. We have all received support from someone there one way or another. So now i'm asking we all return the favor and donate anything you can to keep their own slice of home alive. Papa Steve, I know you didn't ask for this and you're probably going to be mad at me for making such a big deal, but we are all here to give back to the one place that has allowed everyone a little reprieve from the struggles of daily life. We love you and are here to support you in anyway possible! The money would be going towards overhead expenses for the bar while everything is shut down due to Covid-19.
