Junior Great North Run 2024

Nathan (12), Archie (12) and Charlie (11) have given themselves a challenge to enter the Junior Great North Run on Saturday 7th September. The course is 4km (2.5 miles) with a challenging route.

They have all committed to training hard to not only run the course, but to complete it in under an hour! Archie is a keen footballer and is using his football training and games as part of his training, Nathan is running regularly after school and Charlie is using the race track at school with support from them. They all LOVE swimming and attend on a weekly basis for extra training, then of course lots of play afterwards!

The boys have decided that they would like to raise funds for The Hive Silsden CIO, a Community Centre they visit on a regular basis to play. Nathan's mum works at The Hive and so all of the boys volunteer their help at events, they all have a real community spirit! They would like to raise £250 towards the refurbishment of the MUGA.
