Today, we come together in deep sorrow to raise our voices and open our hearts in this fundraising effort for the legal custody of the twin daughters of Juneysi Merlo Espinoza.
Juneysi, a Nicaraguan young mother, was the victim of a tragic and heartbreaking femicide in Costa Rica. After days of anguish and uncertainty, her body was found buried in a grave inside a residence, revealing the violence she endured. Authorities identified her former partner, the father of her daughters, as the main suspect, and he has been detained.
Behind this tragedy lies an even more painful reality: her young twin daughters, now left without their mother, are in a vulnerable situation and under institutional protection.
This cause is born from love, justice, and hope. The funds raised will be used for the legal process to obtain custody of the twins, with the goal of bringing them to Nicaragua, where they can grow up under the care, love, and protection of their maternal grandparents. It will also support their stability, well-being, and future.
Today, we ask for your support—not only as a financial contribution, but as an act of humanity. Every donation is a step toward justice and a better life for these girls, who now need love and solidarity more than ever.
Let this pain not remain in silence.
Let Juneysi’s memory become a fight for justice.
And let her daughters find in all of us the support for a new beginning.
Fundraising for the legal custody of the twins, their well-being, and their future.
