Juneteenth is a yearly community event that honors the day that enslaved people in Texas were finally told that they were free on June 19, 1865. These were the last enslaved people to learn of their freedom.

We will celebrate Black Culture with activities including some geared specifically for children! There will be free snacks and drinks.

You are welcome to bring a blanket, chairs, and food. This is a family-friendly event; no alcohol allowed in the park.

DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED AND GO DIRECTLY TO JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION CREATION.

This event is run entirely by volunteers and every penny of your contribution is used to pay for the direct costs of the event.
