In Loving Memory of my Son Liam Medford.
For those who don't know me I am Liam’s mum Pauline. Myself and my partner Geoff, and the CEO Wade from X-4RCE will be doing a fundraising skydive in Spain. On the 06/06/26 for what would of been Liam's 21st Birthday on the 10th of June.
We are also committed to organising a fundraising evening, bringing together those who knew Liam and those who simply want to support something meaningful to help this organisation for mens mental health.
All funds raised will go directly to X-4RCE CIC, on the presentation evening on 04/07/26 to ensure they can continue providing life-changing and at times, life-saving support to men who need it most. Whether it's somewhere to go and talk or have a cuppa and meet up with others suffering with the same everyday struggles.
We are not great at heights and jumping out a perfectly good plane with piece of material holding us up shows we are determined to help with whatever we can do to help this great organisation. (all jumping costs etc are out of our own pockets) so all money raised goes to X-4RCE. Any donations no matter how big or small will make a difference and we want to thank you for helping us make a difference. Iv asked Wade the CEO to say a few words about X-4RCE.

My name is Wade Wilson, and I am the founder and CEO of X-4RCE CIC, a community organisation dedicated to supporting men’s mental health, especially those who are often overlooked or underserved by mainstream services. Through peer support groups, 1-to-1 mentoring, and community outreach, we offer a safe space for men to speak, heal, and rebuild their lives without judgement.
I had the privilege of knowing Liam Medford from December 2024. He first connected with X-4RCE during a difficult time in his life, seeking a space where he could feel safe, understood, and supported. From the very beginning, Liam stood out as kind-hearted, thoughtful, and full of potential.
He was eager to grow, and even more eager to support others on their journey. Whether it was checking in on fellow group members, volunteering in the community, or suggesting ways we could reach more people, Liam constantly looked for opportunities to make a difference.
Through 1-to-1 mentoring sessions, Liam and I built a strong bond. We talked about everything—from his goals and past experiences to his frustrations with the system and his hopes for a better future. He was open, brave, and full of potential. He often spoke about wanting to be a role model for other young men going through what he had.
Sadly, Liam is no longer with us but his spirit, compassion, and determination live on in the people he touched and the work we do at X-4RCE.
We hope that by sharing Liam’s journey with you, even in part, you can see just how much difference the right support can make.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you would like to support or get involved, we welcome your kindness, energy, and belief in what we do.
With gratitude,Wade WilsonCEO – X-4RCE CIC
