In January this year my cousin Ben tragically passed away after suffering from an unexpected haemorrhagic stroke caused by a brain aneurysm at just 20 years old.

In memory of Ben I am taking part in a sponsored skydive. The money raised will be donated to two charities. The Intensive Care Unit that looked after him, for nearly 10 weeks; and the Bruce Trail Conservancy https://brucetrail.org/ where he spent his childhood years hiking the local trails with his family and friends. Ben loved the great outdoors and all types of adventurous activities. Doing a skydive is therefore the perfect way to honour his memory.

Ben is missed dearly by all of his family and friends. I know he would be very proud of me for jumping out of a plane, and if he were here today I am sure this is something he would have loved to do himself.

I will be doing a tandem skydive at Langar skydiving centre in Nottingham on the 21st June 2025. It would mean the world to all of us if you could donate a small amount to raise money for these two good causes that are very close to all of our hearts.
