Paradise Fire victim: Becki Jackson
Donation protected
Becki Jackson has lost everything in the Paradise fires. Her home, clothes, medications, memories (photos, mementos) of a full life... everything. She escaped the Paradise fires with what she was wearing, some hastily grabbed medications, two dogs and her kitty. Here is what she wrote on Facebook:
"Thank you to everyone who is inquiring, wondering, thinking about, and praying for me. I am safe with a friend in Chico, and was able to get Roxie, Oscar and Stubby out with me. I am devastated to have to leave my precious Buddie Bird, BeeBee and DeeDee. I have heard that my house is completely gone...nothing left. I have the clothes on my back, one pair of jeans and light jacket. Was able to grab most of my meds. Optum rx, my mail order pharmacy is rushing new supplies to me here. Lincaire oxygen in Chico brought me a concentrator and more full tanks. I used up quite a few yesterday. Yesterday was truly a horrendous day. Having to be alone through this was awful. As I was driving through 20 to 30 feet high flames, I was having quite the conversation with my Creator, praying out loud, most of the two and a half hour trip. So...safe so far in Chico..but under fire watch for possible evacuation here, due to fire spread."
I would like to raise money for her to get some clothes, the meds that she needs (for herself and her dogs) and maybe help her get back on her feet a little bit.
Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.
