Julio Carrera Fue un hombre Admirado por muchas personas por su valentía Y coraje fue un guerrero que lucho contra su Enfermedad 7 Años hasta el último momento Lucho Y no quería Darse por Vencido pese a los malos pronósticos de sus Doctores su Fe estaba puesta En dios y en el amor a su Familia/ Esposa, Hijos hermanos ,. Su vida Es una historia que Merece ser Contada Y escuchada por Muchos, ya que Cuando perdió A su Madre el Se convirtió en el Pilar de la Familia Luchando por sus 8 Hermanos, el prometio sacarlos a Delante Y lo Logró, Sus hermanos se convirtieron en personas de bien, y cuando Alguien Tropezaba, el Estaba ahí , su misión fue Grande y nada fácil Ya que constaba en siempre mantener a su familia Unida y en Armonía, Su pasión más grande era ayudar a los demás, y que todos llegarán a su casa a comer sus Comidas exquisitas, el Era feliz viendo siempre su casa con Amigos Y familia por eso es tan querido por muchas Personas, Cada que sabia que alguien necesitaba ayuda El no lo pensaba 2 veces y ayudaba a cuanta persona pudiese, Su fe era inmensa, dios siempre estuvo presente en cada instante, Cantaba, rezaba, oraba a dios a todo Momento Con fervor Y fe, Hoy su familia Y demás Amigos Sufren su pérdida y lloran Por ese ser tan Maravilloso que irradiaba Luz y contagiaba con su fe A dios Y amor a la Vida. Hoy La Familia Carrera veliz acuden a su generosidad, Y piden que si tienen La voluntad de Donar con lo que Nazca de su corazón para que su cuerpo pueda ser llevado a Su país Natal Guatemala Ya que su Últimos deseo fue ese, ser sepultado Junto a su Madre, padre Y Hermanita, Estaremos eternamente Agradecidos por Su apoyo Y generosidad, Dios Les pague Y les multiplique Cada Una de sus donaciones

Julio’s battle started in 2015, when he was first diagnosed with VHL, or Von Hippel Lindau disease , which is a rare genetic disorder in which tumors invade numerous parts of the body such as the brain, spinal cord, and retinas, with other tumors developing in the adrenal glands, kidneys and pancreas.

Ever since then he has had to visit the hospital constantly, receiving numerous amounts of medication, surgeries and treatments. Although the family thought that he was finally better, he got extremely sick over this summer. He was exhausted, he could not sleep at night, and was always in constant pain. On Tuesday the family had been given the sad news that Julio had weeks, to days left, and he passed away on November 16, 2023.

Julio was a friendly outgoing guy. He was well known through out the community, he loved landscaping, going to the beach, singing, and spending time with his family. He got to see he’s youngest turn 2, but was not able to make it to spend thanksgiving dinner with his family. Previously his wife Rosa had been working multiple jobs on top of taking care of 2 teens and a toddler, and now she has to continue to do so without her husband. One of Julio’s last wishes was to be sent back to his home country, Guatemala. The family is struggling from their loss, and we want to help them hang on while they take time to cope, and figure out the future.
