Insamling till Upendo Face Orphanage

Hej vänner!

Hjälp mig att hjälpa det fantastiska gänget på Upendo Face Orphanage som jag har fått äran att lära känna och jobba med de senaste månaderna.

På grund av flertalet oväntade händelser som innebär nya utgifter står hela verksamheten inför stora utmaningar framöver. För att fortsätta med sin verksamhet krävs ekonomiska resurser som barnhemmet för nuvarande inte har. Litet som stort, ditt bidrag kommer göra skillnad.

Det här kan du göra:

- Donera en slant

- Bli medlem i föreningen (ca 400sek/år)

- Sponsra ett barn (ca 5000sek/år, för 7 år grundskola)

Barnhemmet som grundades 2013 har som mål att ge föräldralösa barn i området mat, utbildning och ett kärleksfullt hem så att de kan växa, lära och utvecklas mot en ljus framtid. Just nu bor 16 barn på barnhemmet, och ytterligare ett tjugotal deltar i ”day care” verksamhet som bedrivs där under dagtid.

Fram tills nu har flickorna och pojkarna sovit i en och samma byggnad, men nu har regeringen bestämt att de framöver måste bo i separata byggnader. Mitt mål med denna insamling är därför att delvis täcka kostnaden för att utöka tomten, så att en ny byggnad med sovsalar kan byggas. Det här är tomten som behövs för att kunna bygga ut barnhemmet och få tillräckligt med plats för barnen.

Join me in helping the amazing team at Upend Face Orphanage that I have had the honor of getting to know and work with over the past few months. 

Due to numerous unexpected events that add new expenses, the entire business is facing major challenges going forward. In order to continue with their work they’re in need of financial resources which the orphanage currently does not have. Small or large, your contribution will make a difference. 

Here's what you can do: 

- Donate 

- Become a member of the association (membership fee: 30 CHF per year)

- Sponsor a child (1 235 000 Tanzanian Shilling/year, during 7 years of primary school)

The orphanage, which was founded in 2013, aims to provide food, education and a loving home to orphans in the area, so they can grow, learn and develop towards a bright future. Currently there’s 16 children living at the orphanage, and another additional twenty participating in "day care" during the day. Up until now, the girls and boys have slept in the same building, but now the government has decided that in the future they must live in separate buildings. My goal with this fundraiser is therefore to partially cover the cost of expanding the property, so that a new building with dormitories can be built.
