Hi everyone! My name is Juliette Prezioso, and I am an 8th-grade student at Central Middle School. For my Capstone project, I am organizing “Steps for Strength,” a 1-mile walk and 5K run on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Greenwich High School track.
I am launching this campaign to raise vital funds for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), a debilitating autonomic nervous system disorder. POTS is often called an "invisible illness" because individuals look completely fine on the outside while experiencing severe symptoms like a racing heart, extreme fatigue, dizziness, and fainting on the inside. It impacts millions of people worldwide, including many young people and teenage girls right here in our community.
100% of the funds raised through this page will automatically go directly to Dysautonomia International, the leading non-profit organization dedicated to funding scientific research, raising public awareness, and providing medical education to improve the lives of individuals living with POTS and other forms of dysautonomia.
Whether you are laced up to run with us on June 13th or supporting us from afar, your contribution makes a massive difference. Together, we can fund the research needed to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Thank you so much for your generosity, your support, and for helping me give a voice to this invisible illness!
