My name is Lashana Gentles and I am seeking financial support for my mother, Juliet Bennett, who has been diagnosed with Stage Five Kidney Disease. She was admitted to the Black River hospital from June 23rd to August 8th, 2025. While there, she was informed that she will have to get dialysis treatment twice weekly for the rest of her life, which is vital to her staying alive.

Over the past 15 years, she has been suffering from hypertension and diabetes, and as a result, she had 2 strokes, which have caused her to become partially disabled, as the left side of her body cannot move.

During her time at the hospital, she was treated at the Mandeville hospital and thus became healthy enough to be discharged.

Now, the family has to find JMD $30,000 weekly for her dialysis treatment at the Dialysis Center located across from the Black River hospital. This is quite costly, and my sisters and I are unable to come up with the weekly costs.

Whatever we are blessed with will be used to pay for the treatments, transportation expenses, and any other medical needs that arise.
