Julia & Jordan College Fund

My brother, James R. Steeves lost his over 2 year battle with colon cancer on Wed. 5/26/2021.  He was only 49 years old and leaves behind two young daughters, Julia and Jordan.  It was his girls that drove him to fight his cancer and brought him the most joy in his life. He loved spending time with them and teaching them everything from cooking, outdoor grilling, riding bikes and involved them with home projects like building a bird feeder.  He was a hands-on dad. He brought the girls to their chess matches, doctor appointments, school functions and loved sharing a sub & Coke with them. James created wonderful memories with his girls. 

The one thing James wanted to do was setup a college fund for the girls' future. Unfortunately, James declined rapidly before this could be done. A number of friends and family have asked about flowers or raising donations. As a family, we decided this GoFundMe may be how to fulfill James’s request. I will be working with Jennifer this week to set up a 529 fund with Fidelity in each girl’s name. This GoFundMe is for anyone who would like to donate to their college funds.
