Hello everyone, I'm Juan. Last Sunday, December 15, 2024, my family faced a devastating loss. We woke up to a room filled with smoke, forcing us to evacuate. Fortunately, everyone made it out safely, with just a few burns on my end. It's hard for me to ask for help, but we've been through so much. Even with insurance, the process takes time, and we've already spent around $5000 on essentials like housing and clothing. My small balloon business was also destroyed, along with all my inventory and equipment. It's a setback from which it's hard to recover.

To make matters worse, the night after the fire, we were robbed. Thieves broke into our property and stole patio furniture, heaters, tools, and even my father’s trailer. Although we managed to get the trailer back, everything inside it was gone. Filing a fraud claim would mean an extra $5000 deductible on top of the fire deductible. All together we have lost around $30,000 that will not be covered by insurance.
