Juan Mercado's Reintegration Fund

After more than three years of incarceration, our community member Juan Mercado is finally returning home to his loved ones and familia. As many of you know, reintegration can be a very difficult process for formerly incarcerated people who face barriers with housing, employment, access to basic needs/services and much more. It is with a hopeful heart that we reach out to you today to ask for support with his transition back to his community. Juan will first land at a halfway house where he will be required to find employment immediately. This call for support will fund his basic needs to reenter the workforce and “society.” As a father, Juan will also face challenges supporting his daughters and himself as he transitions back. His family and loved ones greatly appreciate your donation as your support impacts Juan and his family directly.
