I am creating this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden our family is facing after the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our beloved mom, Manuelita “Manuela” Gody, who passed away yesterday, November 5, 2025, after recently (as of a month ago) being diagnosed with Cancer. Our hearts are shattered, and we are still trying to process the reality of her absence.

Many of you may know her from her years of waitressing at the Firebaugh Restaurant. She truly loved her job—serving others, sharing stories, laughing with customers, and making everyone feel welcomed. She had a way of turning even the smallest moments into something warm and memorable.

Mom was a fun-loving, caring, and vibrant soul—a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of so many. She brought joy wherever she went and had a special gift for making people feel loved. Her kindness, humor, and generous spirit are things we will forever cherish.
