Hi, I’m Adrian Caumartin. This spring, I will go on a spectacular journey to work in one of Kenya’s most innovative communities and diverse wildlife destinations with an organization called Kids in the Wild.
Our mission will be focused on supporting the community-owned Mara North Conservancy by raising funds and then working alongside village leaders on development projects that include:
- Implementing a rainwater collection and water purification construction program
- Refurbishing local school facilities
- Rebuilding livestock enclosures to protect the community’s resources from predators
- Educational exchanges with local students
All money raised will be for:
- The on-site purchase of materials - like fencing, paint, concrete, water tanks, etc.
- New tools necessary to accomplish the various projects
- Educational materials for local Maasai students
- General upkeep of the Mara North Conservancy, which is where we will live and work
The communities surrounding the Mara North Conservancy, which are designed to ensure that wildlife can flourish to develop ecotourism that will provide economic opportunities for the community’s future generations, have been chosen to be a part of this innovative program. Like everyone around the world, the people of the Mara North Conservancy have been dreadfully affected by the pandemic, which means they need our help even more!
In recognition of your generosity, for every 10 dollars you donate, I will match your donation with 10 push-ups, and I will run 1 mile.
Will you please help us meet our fundraising target to help the people of Kenya?!
