Help Us Escape Harassment and Find Peace

I am the proud mother to an intelligent, kind, funny young man who happens to have Autism. However, this is far from my proudest moment. For a very long time, its been the two of us , trying to figure out life. We made it work somehow. About two years ago , I admitted that I exhausted all of my efforts. I was forced to accept that I couldn't provide all that he needed to grow to his true potential. It was probably the hardest decision I ever had to face; I reluctantly searched for an alternate living arrangement. The options were few. I found a supervised home that claimed they would provide a safe, fostering environment. I knew it would be a difficult transition. What I didn't expect is that he would be a victim of constant harassment, theft and emotional abuse. I have done all I can do to try to fix the current situation. It has only worsened. So, the search began again. I will do whatever it takes to make him safe, cared for and encouraged to be the brilliant individual I know him to be. I can't do it alone. Lord knows I have tried. My wish is for him to relocate to a new program. This home will be staffed with a dedicated, experienced team. This will be lifechanging for him, and for me. For the first time , in a very long time, I have hope that he will be given the guidance and support he needs to flourish. Although he will receive some help with rent, he still needs to provide a security deposit and last month's rent. It pains me that I am not prepared to provide that . I am terrible at asking for help. Your assistance would mean more to me than I can possibly express. There are no words that could convey my gratitude.
