Isabella
Born
25/12/25
1lb 15oz
At 26weeks 4days
So after a scare at 13 weeks due to a subchronic hemotoma we had been told everything was looking fine and baby was doing great.
Fast forward to Christmas eve and Jess started to feel pressure and had some leaking.
After some calls we were advised to go for a routine check up and when we got there everything changed.
Doctors confirmed that membranes were bulging and it was only a matter of time before baby came. We were blue lighted from our local hospital as they did not have the support Isabella needs.
This has meant we are now 75 miles away from home.
Once we arrived at St Peter's it was decided the safest option was to deliver baby by emergency C section so we were rushed down for this.
Isabella is going to need care in the NICU for many more months to come before she can come home.
