Joy comes with the morning. Psalm30:5 Kayla and Harper Todd

Hardest thing I'll ever put into words, but here I go. I'll keep it short and sweet because the pain is too hard to bear at the moment.

Myles Wade Todd.
You didn't have to personally know him to love him; he was so loved far and wide. He was literal sunshine in this world. He loved every single second of his life here on earth. None of us even want to think about facing another day without him. People say this gets easier with time, so we are all just hanging on tight to that hope and so thankful we have God's promise to give us some sort of peace as we wait for our turn to break in the gates with our sweet bubba.

So many have reached out on how they can help. I could only come up with prayers as my answer, prayers for the Holy Spirit to keep us standing to face each new day ahead. It is only Him that will get us through this grief and turn our sorrow of loss into joy for his life and the small amount of time he let us borrow him here on earth. As much as my beautiful sister doesn't want to face each new day, they will come, and there will be expenses. As so many know, this has already been a very long journey for Kayla, and it will continue. She has put her life on hold to make sure Myles had the life and love he deserved. One day, God will give her the strength to face the world again, and I would love to give her and my niece the gift of being able to stand on their own two feet when the time comes and start a new life. Kayla has very understandably let everything go from yesterday because it's too painful to hold onto. I'm not sure what that would consist of—a home, furnishings, maybe a car for Harper if she's driving age at that time. Who knows. But whatever that may be, I'd love to know that's there waiting for them when ready. So with that being said, if you are wondering of a way you can help, we're asking many, many prayers that Kayla and Harp will need in the days to come and also something to one day start a new life when they are ready, which I believe they deserve.

Thank you all for loving Myles so well.
He has claimed victory over Dravet syndrome and is forever running free.

Sitting at the feet of Jesus.
We love and miss you, Myles Todd, forever.
