Jovita Idár Little Pantry & Fridge

We are just a couple roommates who wanted to open a little area in the front yard for folx to grab some food & a book. After some time, we realized it could be that & so much more, so we are needing your help to start another pantry location! 

Our first pantry is situated in front of our house and sees visitors and donations every day, despite being in a residential neighborhood. The new site will be at a local vegan restaurant, so we are having it be a bit more professional looking than a donated armoire and a Rubbermaid. Because of that, we need money for materials to build the new pantry or buy it outright. The first location relies heavily on donations and is restocked almost daily, so we are needing funds to continue stocking both the first pantry & the second new one. Receipts for each donation will ALWAYS be provided on here, and updates as we go along will be frequent. We are so excited to bring this kind of service to the community, and hope that with this, others are inspired to open their own pantry. We have the hope that San Antonio can one day have a network of pantries that folx can use if they are in need! Thank you for taking the time to read this & we hope to be seeing you soon! ❤️
