Hello everyone,

My name is Nicoly, and I am writing this with a heavy heart about my partner, Santiago. Many of you know him as the warm, hardworking, and caring person he is. Unfortunately, Santiago is facing deportation, and while we hope this painful process will be over soon, he is still stuck in very difficult conditions until he is sent back to Colombia.

Santiago is not only my partner but also my best friend and my biggest support system. He has always been the kind of person who brings joy to everyone around him—whether through his positive energy, his dedication at work, or the way he always goes out of his way to help others. To me, and to so many of us, he is truly family.

This fundraiser has been created to support Santiago once he arrives in Colombia. The money raised will help him with food, housing, and basic needs as he gets back on his feet and searches for a job. Starting over is not easy, and I want to make sure he has the foundation he needs to rebuild his life with dignity.

I cannot express how much your support means to both of us. Santiago often tells me how grateful he is for the love, kindness, and encouragement he has received from friends and our community. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference for him during this transition.

Mi nombre es Nicoly y escribo esto con el corazón en la mano sobre mi pareja, Santiago. Muchos de ustedes lo conocen por ser una persona trabajadora, generosa y llena de luz. Lamentablemente, Santiago está enfrentando un proceso de deportación y, mientras esperamos que todo termine pronto, sigue en condiciones muy duras hasta ser enviado de regreso a Colombia.

Santiago no es solo mi compañero, es también mi mejor amigo y mi mayor apoyo. Siempre ha sido alguien que transmite alegría a todos a su alrededor — ya sea con su energía positiva, su dedicación en el trabajo o su disposición constante para ayudar. Para mí, y para muchos que lo conocemos, él es familia.

Este fondo ha sido creado para apoyar a Santiago cuando llegue a Colombia. Lo recaudado servirá para cubrir comida, vivienda y necesidades básicas mientras busca empleo y logra ponerse de pie nuevamente. Empezar de cero nunca es fácil, y quiero asegurarme de que tenga una base para reconstruir su vida con dignidad.

No puedo expresar lo mucho que significa para nosotros contar con su apoyo. Santiago siempre me dice lo agradecido que está por el cariño, la amistad y el respaldo que ha recibido de nuestra comunidad. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, hará una diferencia real en este momento tan difícil.
