On the third day, the embryos showed promise—8 thriving, 5 in progress, and 3 struggling. By day 6, my heart sank as I lost all of them. A difficult morning at work became even harder with the crushing news.
Amidst the cheers of encouragement from loved ones, the financial strain loomed large. Embarking on this journey with a single income has brought me to a crossroads. Restarting the journey means an $18,900 investment for another egg extraction on top of the $75,000 that I am already putting into it. And from there, each transfer of embryos demands $6,000, with an additional $7,000 for any blessings of twins. The uncertainties, the potential complications—it's a path without insurance safeguards.

That’s why I started a program out of country and that is setting me back $75,000 without any of the hiccups.
