Hi, my name is Steve, and I’m reaching out with deep love and humility to ask for help—not for me, but for my mom.

She’s been through so much over the last few years.

She’s currently living in New Jersey, facing constant financial stress, struggling with depression, and still healing from a broken foot that left her disabled. On top of everything, in 2021, she lost my brother—her child—and the weight of that grief still follows her every day.

She has no one else to lean on but me. I dont have family aside from us.

And while I do everything I can to support her emotionally, I simply don’t have the financial means to give her what she truly needs. Living in New York City, I’m also doing my best just to keep my own head above water.

Still, I want to honor her dream.

My mom’s one wish is to return to Jamaica, the country where she was born, to live a simple, quiet life connected to her roots. A chance to breathe, to heal, and to find peace after everything she’s carried.

This fundraiser will go directly toward:

Safe and modest housing

️ Basic essentials so she can start over with dignity
