Hi, my name is Emily Young. I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom and dad, who have been by my little sister Journee’s side in the hospital for over a month. Journee is a bright and beautiful child who lives with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Recently, she had a trach placed today and her recovery will require at least another 3 months in the hospital.

With my mom and stepdad staying at the hospital full-time to be there for Journee, they’ve been unable to work or keep up with expenses at home. Meanwhile, my other siblings are at home and still need support. The stress of medical challenges on top of bills, food, and daily necessities has been overwhelming.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden so my family can focus on what matters most: Journee’s healing. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward supporting household expenses and caring for my siblings during this difficult time.
