Josie Mazzo Children’s Charities was founded in February of 2007 in memory of our daughter, Josie Renae Mazzo.
About Josie: Josie Renae Mazzo was 110% “girlie-girl”…she loved tea parties, Barbie’s, Hello Kitty and most of all playing dressing up. She brought a lifetime of joy to those whose lives she touched before losing her battle with mitochondrial disease on April 23, 2006. Since then we have looked for ways to learn and grow from our experience as well as for ways to help other children and families facing similar circumstances. We have raised over $850,000 through generous support of our annual golf tournament and sporting clay shoot events.
