A NOTE FROM JOSIAH…Hi! Personally, packing prizes for seniors in elderly homes and people in cancer treatment lifts their lives up, as well as it does my own life.
No special person leapt up to ask me to do this project, I lifted my own hand to do it. Core pleasantries on a slow day make life a little easier for people. Could I help them by providing this comfort?
So learning to put these packs together provides me with opportunities too. People with problems like naturally portioning out things like to learn how to do it. Doing this with my mom, just listening to her instruct me how, is helping me learn work skills.

Josiah is 16 years old, nonspeaking and autistic. He is homeschooled and communicates by pointing to letters on a letter board or a keyboard. He loves to learn history and science, read, write inspirational poetry and paint. This project, which we hope will be ongoing, is utilizing his gifts and desire to be generous, as well as working on motor skills and purposeful work tasks.
