I am currently a Third year Education major at Burman University with a deep passion for working with children and a strong heart for mission. For me, teaching is more than a career, it is a calling to serve, guide, and create spaces where young people can grow not only academically, but spiritually like it was introduced to me.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to the Philippines, where I worked with underserved families and children. Through medical missions and Vacation Bible School (VBS), I was able to witness firsthand the impact of showing up with compassion, meeting practical needs, and sharing the love of Jesus. That experience changed me. It reminded me that even small acts of service can make a lasting difference in someone’s life.

This coming summer, I have been given another opportunity to serve, this time in Thailand. During the first half of my trip, I will be working at the SDA International School of Thailand (elementary and high school), where I will be teaching, leading VBS programs, and helping organize outreach initiatives in the community. I will also be supporting efforts to connect students and families with Adventist education, helping young people find a place where they can grow in their faith and feel a sense of belonging with God at the center of their lives.

As an Education major, this means so much to me. I believe that when children are placed in environments that nurture both their learning and their relationship with God, it shapes not only their future but who they become. Being part of that journey is something I feel called to do.

In the second half of my mission, I will be partnering with ADRA Thailand to assist in planning and carrying out community outreach projects. This will include visiting communities, building relationships, and helping execute initiatives that support and uplift those in need planned by the ADRA Thailand group I will be joining.

I am raising funds to support this mission, and your support will go directly toward making this possible. Donations will help cover essential costs such as flights, accommodations, food, and outreach supplies that will be used to serve the communities we are working with.
