Josh's Bar Mitzvah Project
Donation protected
Hi. I’m Joshua Tischler and I’m 13 years old. On November 5, 2016, I will become a bar mitzvah. In honor of this commitment to my faith, I have chosen a project to "heal the world." I live in Queens, New York where people speak 138 different languages and are of all races, and religions. I play basketball on several teams with other kids of all races, and religions, and despite our differences, we join together for one common goal-to win!
That is why I am raising money for the Peace Players International Foundation (PPL), an organization that promotes peace and friendships through basketabll; PPL has programs in the Middle East where they unite Arab and Jewish kids to build bonds and friendships through basketball; In South Africa where poor children cannot afford to join sports clubs; and inner cities like Washington D.C, where violence is a way of life.
The motto of PPL is "Children who play together can learn to live together."
Please help me in supporting this amazing organization.
Any small donation counts.
