Josh’s Fight and Journey

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, as many of you have already heard, our beloved Josh – a unique, loving, funny, outspoken, and big-hearted soul – has been in a serious accident. The news of this has been nothing short of devastating. It has changed our lives in ways we never imagined, and the emotional toll has been overwhelming.
The day of the accident, Josh was in critical condition, suffering injuries across nearly every part of his body. It’s hard to describe just how much this has impacted us – Josh isn’t just my brother; he’s the heart of our family, and anyone who knows him understands the immense love and joy he brings into every life he touches.
Right now, Josh is in the ICU under the care of an incredible team of doctors and specialists who are working tirelessly to give him the best chance at recovery, with him enduring countless surgeries. I am beyond grateful for the care he’s receiving, as well as the first responders who arrived so quickly and worked to get him the help he needed.
Our hearts are heavy with the pain of seeing him go through this, but we are dedicated to supporting him through each challenge ahead.
Josh is my world. He’s more than just family – he’s my rock, my biggest supporter, and the best uncle my boys could ever ask for. His beautiful spirit and loving nature have touched so many, and I’m incredibly thankful that he is still with us. His strength and resilience are truly remarkable, and we know he has a long road to recovery ahead.
We are deeply grateful for all of the love and support we’ve received so far. Josh has always been the kind of person who gave so much to others, never realising just how loved he is. Your kindness and continued support mean the world to us, and we know it will mean everything to Josh as he continues his journey to recovery.
Although we never anticipated asking for help, the reality of Josh’s current condition has made it clear that we need support. He will be in the hospital for an extended period, and with the added stress of the recent holidays, we're facing growing expenses. These include travel expenses such as gas, parking, tolls, as well as having very little leave, no emergency funds or accomodation funds. In addition to this, the financial strain on my dad, who is already feeling the weight of juggling work while being there for Josh and also having to pay rent.
This is not easy for us, but we are reaching out for help. Any contribution will go directly toward covering these costs and allowing us to be by Josh’s side as he recovers. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity, love, and support.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Josh’s journey.
With love,
