Kaiizen Education Fund: Help Jose study in the USA
Tax deductible
The Kaiizen Foundation exists to benefit the lives of underprivileged children and change the lives of those who serve with us.
Jose, a child we have been sponsoring, has an amazing chance to study in Utah under the care and guidance of a loving family. Here’s the family’s story:
In August 2018 we joined a Kaiizen service trip to an orphanage in Mexico. Little did we know we would meet a boy that would completely capture our hearts. 12-years-old at the time, he and our 13-year-old son instantly clicked. They acted as though they had been in each other’s lives forever, even with a language barrier. We left Mexico with a void in our hearts. We knew he was missing from our family and got to work.
We have been working hard for two years to adopt him. Countless hurdles, and what seemed like dead end after dead end, we finally see a light at the end of the tunnel to get Jose here.
We have a chance to change this young man’s life and provide for him a loving stable home.
We are raising funds to fix his aunt’s home to the point where the Mexican Social Services will approve her as his legal guardian.
Jose has bounced around from orphanage to orphanage without a lot stability. Sadly his parents aren’t in the picture. His aunt is willing to take custody of Jose and social services will allow it if we get her house in order.
There’s a lot of work to be done on the house, including adding a room for Jose. The funds will also help a group travel to Mexicali to fix the house, as well as passport and visa fees.
This is a worthy cause with direct impact. We will update with photos and news. Our hope is to get the house fixed and all wrapped up by the end of the year.
Thank you so much for the trust and confidence.
