Josh's Rent Fund

This campaign's purpose is simple: raise the money for Josh Chang's spring-semester rent. Josh, who was a beloved resident of 115 Howe St, died in a car accident in November. Josh's housemates are understandably unwilling to have someone move into his old room, and they should not have to shoulder a financial burden for this.
Josh could have lead a pit stop team (for a racecar that he built himself, of course), because he could replace a bike's tire, brakes, and wires, wash a stack of dishes, and fix the world's best whiskey sour in less time than it takes most of us to brush our teeth. Josh was a devotee of weird snacks, 4 AM bike rides through New Haven, and DIY car repair. Like other magnificent photographers, Josh had an acute power of social observation that has enabled him to repeatedly capture the joy around him. I owe him many things -- thanks for fixing my bike patiently and repeatedly, for supporting his friends, for teaching me about boiled peanuts and other Southern customs, and for responding to even my worst jokes with his characteristic impish grin and chuckle. For those of you who knew Josh, this description and these debts will likely sound familiar. Even if you did not know Josh well, you knew the important role he played in the lives of his housemates, friends, and family.
Josh's house at Yale was and is a home to more than just his housemates. Please donate whatever you can to help his housemates avoid this financial burden.
