Alright, y'all! For those of y'all who don't know me, my name is Josh Johansson. I'm a southern rock & soul singer/songwriter from Savannah, GA.
I am finally at the point in my career where I am ready to realease some original tunes! At a big show that I recently played, I was given some very promising news about having a great opportunity to start recording with some folks who have a lot of experience in this business. We discussed my future and the potential of my music career REALLY going somewhere. I just need to come up with the funds!
I want to record an EP (short album) with about 5 of my original songs. These songs will tell a story about my life and some of the people who have impacted my life, to this point. I am very proud to finally feel like I have quality music to release to my fans! Some of y'all have been sticking with me since my first gig, St. Patrick's Day, 2012!
This is an essential step in getting to where I want to be as a musician. Your donations, combined with what I'm trying to save up on my own, will help me take care of everything I need to record and release this first album!
I have never done anything like this and I'm really excited to take this next step. Any donations, shares, or even pats on the back are much appreciated as I try to continue my journey as a professional musician! Every bit counts and I can't thank y'all enough! When we get the album finished, there will be some sort of acknowledgement for all the folks who helped along the way! Even $1 gets me closer to my goal!
