Hi, my name is Josh, and I have been selected to represent West Mercia Scout Contingent attending the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Gdańsk, Poland in Summer 2027.

I’ve been in scouts for over 10 years participating in beavers, cubs and scouts at 2nd Penn and I am currently an explorer scout at Wombourne ESU. I’m also a young leader at 2nd Penn for beavers and have been for over 2 years. This is a once in a lifetime international experience and is like no other – it is so much more than just a camp, as it provides an opportunity for over 40,000 young people including myself to come together, to develop skills for life, in planning, independence, fundraising, motivating others, teamwork, travelling and opportunity to try new activities with people from around the world.

However, to get to Poland I need to fundraise £3000 in the next 18 months. This will be done through different fundraising activities as a unit and individually. Any contributions or sponsorship big or small will bring me one step closer to this incredible adventure. Any support given is appreciated.
