Hi Friends and Family,
Josh and I are going to Cambodia from 29th June to 10th July with a team to work with the charity Cows for Cambodia (https://www.cowsforcambodia.com/).
Whilst there, we will be doing what we can to support initiatives to break the poverty trap in Cambodia, which resulted from the brutal genocide of up to 2 million people during the rule of the Khmer Rouge between 1975 - 1979, where the educated middle classes were wiped out, and the general population forced to work and starved to death.
Along with helping with cows, we will be building a house for a homeless family, delivering over 3000kg of rice to villagers, cooking a nutrious meal for over 400 school children, running some STEM and English language classes and many other things directly with the villagers living in the poverty trap, such as buying small bottles of fuel for heating, cooking and their motorbikes.
We will be with Cosi from South Australia, who runs the charity, his team and a few kids and parents from Josh's school. We want to raise as much as we can to hand out directly whilst we are there. Along with cash to buy local, we are taking clothes, shoes, tools, anything that could help people that they either cannot get or cannot afford.
Please help us if you can with a small donation to increase our contribution to this cause.
Thanks,
Josh and Ant
