Joseph's Trail Life Service Project to benefit Elijah Rising

Hi, my name is Joseph Heath with Trail Life Troop 11 in Sugar Land.

I am very close to achieving my Freedom Award, which is the final (and highest) honor awarded. For my service project, I contacted Elijah Rising to see if they had any urgent needs. Elijah Rising is an organization in Houston that rescues young women from trafficking and provides a safe home, counseling, and education until they can get on their feet.

The sidewalk to the safe home is uneven and a tripping hazard, and the fence is falling down. We will be replacing the old pavers with a wooden deck-style sidewalk and also replacing the fence. I have volunteers lined up to donate labor for this project, but I need to raise $1,500 for materials.
