Joseph’s Adoption

I try to keep upbeat and positive most of the time, but since we’ve left the hospital with baby Joseph we’ve been hit with one thing after another relentlessly, starting with an extended stay out of state. About a week after we got home one of the kids flooded the main floor bathroom, which ended up also destroying about half of our basement. Kristel dislocated her shoulder a couple of weeks ago, which she now needs surgery for. Things like me smashing my finger in the truck door and Abby ripping off her entire toenail are paling in comparison to the bigger things. Last night, again, another bathroom got flooded; this time the upstairs, flowing water down into our playroom. Another ceiling that had to come down and now needs repaired. Things are happening on the business front that I can’t even begin to describe; you wouldn’t believe me, but we are under attack. Amidst all these small disasters (which are huge financially), the final attorney bills have rolled in. The good news is, on 6/24 we go to court to get custody of Joseph transferred to us (the attorney currently has it, we are just guardians) and then 6 months after, we get to finalize. This sweet baby is such a blessing; I can’t even describe the love we have for him! I can’t wait to watch him grow and see God’s plan for him unfold. I really hate asking for help, but if you can help at all with these fees (it feels like a ransom to me) we’d greatly appreciate it. Any amount helps a ton. ❤️Thank you
