The Legacy of Joseph Milo

Joseph J. Milo, Sr., passed away Wednesday May 5th at age 78. He was born in the Bronx on January 31, 1943 to Sabato and Nicolina Milo, where he lived with his two brothers, surrounded by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Joseph had many business endeavors throughout his life and worked for many years alongside his brothers. He loved traveling and cherished spending time with his family. He was truly loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Yuko Uchibori; his loving sons Joseph (Linette), Jake, and Jesse; and his dear brothers Thomas (Kitellen) and Nicholas (Pamela); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

To honor his life, family and friends will gather on Wednesday, May 12th from 4pm - 8pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home.

In honor of Joseph's passing, his family kindly requests that any gifts or donations are made through this page so they may send the funds to the Cultural Center of Nerima, Tokyo.

Joseph was a big supporter The Nerima Cultural Center in Japan - which exists to teach the community Japanese culture and traditions. The community center takes care of both young and old, incorporating the innocence of the young and the wisdom of the old in order to lead to a more loving and caring community that will continue for generations. They offer classes in traditional Japanese performing arts such as sword fighting, Japanese dance, and calligraphy, as well as various exercises such as dance and yoga.

We thank you for your well wishes and donations in support of such a special cause to Joseph.
