My name is Joseph Matasso and this is the official GoFundMe for my Eagle Scout Project. The Eagle Scout Project is the final step in a Boy Scout's journey and is an opportunity for scouts and volunteers alike to give back to their community. I will provide the details of my project below. Any donation will be highly appreciated and will help me get closer to my final goal of becoming an Eagle Scout. My project will commence soon and be completed by the 3rd of March.
The Beneficiary of my Eagle Scout Project will be St. Matthias Church. My parish is rapidly growing and is in constant need of funds and volunteers to provide for it. My project will include three parts. First, we will completely tear out and redo two different flower beds. Next, we will repaint the badly worn front parking lot in its entirety. Lastly, we will completely replace a very weathered parish office sign in the front of the church.
Step 1: Flower Beds
The first stage of my project will be redoing these flower beds. This will include completely removing the foliage and plants, building new borders, adding mulch, and incorporating all new plants and bushes.
Stage 2: Parking Lot
The second phase of my project will include the repainting of the church's parking lot. To do this, we need to rent a machine to paint the lines, as well as supply all of the paint to complete the parking lot.
Stage 3: New Church Sign
The last phase of my project will be providing an entirely new sign for the church. The current sign is extremely dilapidated so my project will be replacing it with a brand new one.
