Jose Eagle Project. Firepit rebuild with benches

My name is Jose Saucedo and for my Eagle Scout project my troop and I rebuilt our church's firepit area. St. Martin's parish sponsors several different community groups including my BSA troop 926. The previous setup was not conducive to social gatherings. My plan was to remove the existing structures and replace them with a more secure firepit surrounded by a mulch ring and 8 benches. Also included in my plan was the building of a storage shed for firewood, with a rain gutter that will allow the collection of rainwater into a storage barrel. This will provide a reservoir of water with which the fires built in the pit can be extinguished. I feel these changes will make the space more inviting and accessible to the St. Martin's community.
