Hello! My name is Jordan Eli Schneiderman. I am 12-years-old and I am having my Bar Mitzvah this December!!! For my Bar Mitzvah, I am doing what is called a “mitzvah project.” A mitzvah project is something that the Bar/Bat Mitzvah does to help the community. My goal is to fundraise $950 to make activity bags for kids at The Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is a small housing facility for kids who need a place to stay while getting help from the local hospitals.

The activity bags will give the kids something to do while they are at the hospital or just sitting at the house. These bags will be in both English and Spanish and will be for all different ages since not all of the kids there are the same age. Some of the items in the bags will include things such as card games, bubbles, crayons, markers, and sketch pads along with many other things.

All of the donations will go to the making of these bags, so will any extra money. I am hoping to give at least two months’ worth of bags, one in November and one in December. Any extra bags that we can make will go towards extra months of gift bags. I would be so grateful if you would donate money to this cause. It would make all of the kids receiving the bags overjoyed and would really help them out since they can't really do anything because of COVID guidelines.
