Having a family is really everything to us. So after a few years of marriage we began our journey of having a family. Jennica's mother comes from a family with three sets of twins so we thought having a child would come easily. Unfortunately that was not the case. Infertility has been a heartbreaking and unexpected journey.
Over the next three years, we would have two miscarriages and numerous failed infertility treatments. After all hope was lost and we wanted to give up, we were blessed with our miracle, Kayla.
She has literally been our world. We feel so grateful to get to be parents and to have her in our lives.
Unfortunately as we've tried for baby number two, we've been met with more complications. Jennica has been diagnosed with endometriosis. While endometriosis may not be painful for some women, Jennica has been experiencing immense pain. To treat this, her doctors have performed two surgeries with a third coming this next week. And the only medication to minimize the growth of endometriosis, birth control.
After this third surgery we need to be really aggressive to get pregnant or she will end up in this same situation. Doctor's say that In vitro fertilization (IVF) is our best chance to have another baby. As some know, the expense of IVF is incredibly high and it is not covered by insurance.
We hope to raise some funds to help make our dream of adding another to our family come true. Thank you for reading and for your support.
