Jordan & Emily Ledbetter's Adoption Fund

Hi, we are Emily and Jordan. We are adopting our first child domestically and are asking for your prayers and financial support to help make this dream a reality.  Adoption is an expensive process, so we wanted to be transparent about the funds needed to adopt a child, and what those funds will be going towards. As many of you know, we have a primary agency, called Small World Adoption Agency in TN, but we have recently applied to have an adoption consultant to help increase our chances of becoming parents.

This comes at a cost. We currently have raised $15,414.31. After paying the consultant fee of $5,498, we will have $9,916.31 of raised funds remaining. We will be asked to apply to various agencies through the consultant, so we have budgeted about $800 for application fees. We are estimating (based on the average placement fee per Google) that the placement fee will cost around $25,000, and the potential cost of paying for the birth mom's living expenses will be about $10,000, making the total costs around $35,000. After applying the $9,916.31 of our remaining funds that we already raised, we need to raise around $25,800 to cover the rest of the costs of the entire adoption.
