Jonny and Sandra making memories

Hi I’m Olivia . Im going to be doing a sky dive for my uncle Jonny . Jonny has worked all his life . Now it’s our time to try help him and Sandra out showing our love and support . On the 11th February as many of you know Jonny had a stroke . He became unwell as the days went on . 14th February scunthorpe rushed Jonny to hull for craniotomy (part of his skull removed ) to help with the swelling . He’s gone through so much . If he didn’t have the procedure he wouldnt be here now . Went straight to intensive care after . Jonny didn’t wake up for weeks after all the worry of him not waking up . As time went on Jonny had seizures, blood clot on the lung. Pneumonia . not a lot of bed space we thought they was giving up on him as drs came in and said it’s not looking good . No not Jonny he’s made of strong stuff he can pull through we believed in him. after so many hiccups jonny woke up and got moved back to scunthorpe as hull couldn’t do anymore for him . they wanted Jonny to go to Rehabilitation unit once he was well enough for this . As time went on he was having physio and occupational therapy coming in daily . Had a peg fitted as wasn’t safe to eat or drink. The next step was goole rehabilitation unit. but had to be moved back to grimsby before he went to goole to wait for a bed . Jonny had lots of scans ect as the days was going ahead still but not once moaned . As we thought he was coming out of the wood works he had a biopsy done on his lung . He’s been diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4, Jonny is home around his family . Having the care he needs . We don’t know how long he has to make memories . The McMillan nurses have been great and are getting a wheelchair for Jonny next week fingers crossed . He’s got weakness to his left side . So needs hoisting . So i have decided to do a sky dive to help raise funds for Jonny and Sandra . I want to be able to take the stress off her as she’s not working atm as she’s physically not able to with everything going on . so I’ve set this page up to see if we can raise as much as possible . I’m also going to buy a book for people to write in if they wish to . we can read messages to him. So if anyone would like to sponsor me please click on .
