Lake Hills Haiti Mission Trip

My name is Jonathan Roberts, I am trying to raise money to be able to travel with Lake Hills Church to their orphanage in Haiti.

I have been volunteering my time to the organization Mobile Loaves and Fishes in Austin for three years now. I go out to the community with the Mobile Loaves Team to help those that are less fortunate. Our trips with Mobile Loaves include making and delivering sandwiches, giving out clothes, or just making conversation with people that just want to feel loved and normal.



I'm very passionate about helping others that are in need. This is why I feel I have to go to Haiti to bring smiles, joy and help to people that desperately need it. As you may remember Haiti was hit with a terrible earthquake in 2010 and due to the lack of infrastructure it has been very hard for them to rebuild. My time there will be spent helping to rebuild the community and spend time with the children of the orphanage. Not only is this trip important to me,  it's most important to the children of the orphanage and to their community.
This is what I feel I was born to do, to help others. Thank you so much for reading my story and believing in my mission.
