Jonathan Eaton's Eagle Scout Service Project
Donation protected
Please help Eagle Scout Candidate, Jonathan Eaton, from Troop 1260
My Eagle Scout Service Project is dedicated to enhancing The Harvest at Frisco Commons; a beautiful and sustainable garden for the community to gather, learn, and grow fruits and vegetables. I believe this project will provide lasting positive change in the community for years to come as it will teach others to grow their own produce to feed their families; provide donations to Frisco Family Services and teach children about conservation and sustainability.
This project is personal for me as it honors my Granddaddy who was an Eagle Scout who shared a love of gardening and the outdoors with me.
Enhancements Include Adding the Following:
4 wheelchair accessible, raised garden beds
1 new and enclosed composting shed with 2 composting bins
2 shade structures and picnic tables
4 shaded potting tables
2 pergolas with flowering plants to promote pollination
1 teaching bulletin boards
New signage
Additional lighting for safety

We will be displaying plaques of thank you on items in the project for those who donate $500.00 or more. Your generous donations will allow me to teach others how to grow and harvest food for themselves and will honor my Granddaddy and his love for the outdoors.
